The mobile dental unit consists of a waiting area with a small desk, a dental treatment room and a sterilization area. The unit is accessible by a staircase located on the long site of the container. The dental unit is designed to perform general oral health care such as extraction of teeth, scaling and root planing, endodontic root canal treatment and preventative measures for gum diseases. It comes fully packed with consumables, medicines and equipment.

The diagnostic unit supports general diagnostic services such as orthopedic diagnostics, TB screening and a wide range of lab tests. The patients enter the mobile diagnostic unit in the waiting area/small office that gives access to the X-ray room and the lab area. The X-ray room consists of a X-ray, PACS-station and a small changing room with curtains. The Hospitrailer has integrated lead shielding in the walls and doors to protect health workers against harmful radiation. The X-ray room can also be used for other diagnostic test, for example taking blood samples. The lab area provides space for three diagnostic desks

The surgical Hospitrailer facilitates dental services, oral and maxillofacial surgery such as surgical removal of teeth, cleft lip and cleft palate repair. The Hospitrailer consists of a 40ft standard shipping container on a truck for maximum mobility. The 40ft container is transformed into a medical facility with extreme robust characteristics. The surgical unit contains a dental room, operation room and a storage/sterilization room. The operation room is situated in the front section and has access to the sterilization room via a shutter. The dental room is fitted with treatment chair, stool, mobile cart unit, mobile suction unit and operating light. Equipment and medicines for dental care and surgical procedures will be delivered as well.
