What is Remote Therapeutic Monitoring? Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) manages patients using devices that collect non-physiological data also called as therapeutic data. As per CMS guidelines, therapeutic data include pain levels, medication adherence, and therapy adherence as recorded or reported by the patient via a medical device. Both respiratory and musculoskeletal system status can be monitored through RTM.

What is Chronic Pain? Chronic pain refers to persistent or recurring pain which lasts for a longer period such as weeks, months and even years. The factors that lead to chronic pain are surgeries, accidents, nerve damage, inflammation and other medical conditions. The patients who have been experiencing pain for the past three months or more are eligible to enrol into Chronic Pain Management program.
