Adhesion Peptides
Hyaluronan - Binding Peptide, biotin labeled GAHWQFNALTVRGGGS - K(Biotin)
This peptide is a hyaluronan-binding peptide biotinylated through a C-terminal GGGSK linker. Hyaluronan (HA) is a nonsulfated glycosaminoglycan expressed in the extracellular matrix and on cell surfaces. HA plays a role in fertilization, embryonic development, wound healing, angiogenesis, leukocyte trafficking to inflamed tissues, and cancer metastasis. This peptide has been shown to block HA binding to CD44 receptors and inhibit T cell proliferation.
Adrenomedullin and Related Peptides
Proadrenomedullin N - terminal 20 peptide, PAMP (1 - 20) ARLDVASEFRKKWNKWALSR - NH3
PAMP (1-20) is a biologically active molecule produced by posttranslational processing of proadrenomedullin. This peptide is found in a variety of tissues and exerts important biological activities through specific cell surface receptors. PAMP (1-20) is involved in many physiological processes, including vasodilation, bronchodilation, hormone secretion, cell migration, apoptosis, and angiogenesis. This peptide has been implicated in the pathophysiology of several diseases such as renal and cardiovascular disorders, stroke, cancer, and diabetes.
Cancer Research Peptides
Human PD - L1 inhibitor II New
Programed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) is a cell surface receptor. PD-1 and its ligand PD-L1 are crucial immune checkpoints to downregulate T cell activation, tolerance and immunopathology. Several types of cancer cells overexpress PD-L1 in order to escape from the PD-1/PD-L1 immunosurveillance mechanism. Human PD-L1 inhibitor II is a peptide-based molecule. It binds to human PD-1 and inhibits PD-1/PD-L1 binding. This peptide, PDL-1 inhibitor I has anchor residues, WDY that influence binding of hPD-L1 to hPD-1. Developing inhibitors specifically blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway has become a popular approach toward cancer treatment.PD-L1 Related Peptides:Human PD-L1 inhibitor I, Cat# AS-65581Human PD-L1 inhibitor III, Cat# AS-65583Human PD-L1 inhibitor IV, Cat# AS-65584Human PD-L1 inhibitor V, Cat# AS-65585.
Endocrine and Hormonal
Growth Hormone Releasing Factor, GRF (1 - 29), Amide, Human
This hypophysiotropic peptide was isolated from human hypothalamic-hypophysial tissues. Within this 1 to 29 amino acid GRF fragment, amino acids 13 to 21 are more important than 24 to 29 for high affinity receptor binding.
