The authorization for the production of medical devices was given by the notified body 0373 "Istituto Superiore di Sanità", which also released the CE certificates for devices belonging to class Is, IIa and IIb according to the European Directive 93/42/CEE, received in Italy with D. Lgs. N.46 on 24/02/1997. Between 2000 and 2005 KNOW MEDICAL got the CE certificate for new product families. In 2007 the company Quality Management System was certified by the notified body 0475 ICIM SpA. KNOW MEDICAL is currently ISO9001:2008 and ISO13485:2004 certified. In 2012 KNOW MEDICAL built a new warehouse and another new Clear Room. In the same year the company started an eCommerce activity for some product families.
