MetaboGen was founded based on break through science from the the labs of Professor Fredrik Bäckhed (University of Gothenburg) and Professor Jens B Nielsen (Chalmers University of Technology). Since 2011, the company provides commercial access to metagenome research and development, helping the industry to create next generation probiotics and pharmaceutical products, based on the microbiome.
