For over 50 years, we have been partnering with healthcare and life science laboratories, manufacturers and suppliers across the globe to co-create and provide biological control materials, assay services and consulting for microbiology, molecular diagnostics and virology. Headquartered in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, we have additional facilities in California, Kentucky and Michigan. Founded in 1971, Microbiologics was originally named Environmental Protection Laboratories. Pursuing a mission of protecting public health, the company provided laboratory testing services for detecting microbial contamination in water sources, the environment and food products. In 1976, we began manufacturing and selling laboratory supplies including lyophilized (freeze-dried) microorganisms.
