Lactate Biosensor
Pinnacle offers a LACTATE BIOSENSOR that is capable of providing real-time changes in lactate concentration in the brains of rodents. The lactate biosensor has outstanding performance characteristics and rejects all common electroactive interferents, including ascorbate. It has a linear range of at least 2 mM. We have successfully demonstrated that the lactate biosensor works in vivo and can provide continuous monitoring of brain lactate concentration changes for 96+ hours. This biosensor is warrantied for 21 days from time of shipment.
Glucose Biosensor
Pinnacle offers a GLUCOSE BIOSENSOR that is capable of providing real-time changes in glucose concentration in the brains of rodents. The glucose biosensor has outstanding performance characteristics and rejects all common electroactive interferents, including ascorbate. It has a linear range of at least 4 mM. We have successfully demonstrated that the glucose biosensor works in vivo and can provide continuous monitoring of brain glucose concentration changes for 96+ hours. This biosensor is warrantied for 21 days from time of shipment.
Glutamate Biosensor
Pinnacle offers a GLUTAMATE BIOSENSOR that is capable of providing real-time changes in glutamate concentration in the brains of rodents. The glutamate biosensor has outstanding performance characteristics and rejects all common electroactive interferents, including ascorbate. It has a linear range of at least 50 uM. We have successfully demonstrated that the glutamate biosensor works in vivo and can provide continuous monitoring of brain glutamate concentration changes for up to 36 hours. This biosensor is warrantied for 21 days from time of shipment.
EEG/EMG Systems
Pinnacle - 3-Channel Wireless EEG/EMG Systems
Pinnacle offers three-channel wireless EEG/EMG systems for rats and mice for long-term studies. The lightweight, headmounted Bluetooth® wireless amplifier streams data to a computer in real-time using a small USB dongle receiver and the Sirenia® software suite. When combined with Pinnacle`s prefabricated headmounts, EEG/EMG electrode placement is simple and straightforward to ensure consistent, reliable results. Our wireless systems use off-the-shelf batteries, making electrophysiology telemetry easy and cost-effective. The electronics are the same for both animals.
Pinnacle - 3-Channel Tethered Systems
Pinnacle`s three-channel tethered systems provide a cost-effective solution for researchers who prefer recording in a fixed EEG/EMG configuration. The data conditioning and acquisition system (DCAS) and preamplifier are preconfigured and ordered as a matching pair. Standard configurations include 2 EEG/1 EMG and 3 EEG; custom configurations are available upon request.
