In late 2016, Dr Nadine Hachach-Haram FRCS (Plast), BEM, drew on her surgical experiences and her passion for innovation and education, to create Proximie. Proximie is a technology platform that allows clinicians to virtually ‘scrub in’ to any operating room or cath lab from anywhere in the world. By empowering clinicians to share their skills in real-time, we can reduce variation in care and ensure every patient receives the best healthcare every single time. We believe we can revolutionise healthcare by making it more efficient, effective, affordable and most importantly, accessible, by harnessing the power of 5G and Space Technology to help solve the connectivity problems in healthcare.
