When quality matters in imaging QA - Test object for digital volume tomography (3D) X-ray modalities The NORMI 3D is a test object for quality control and acceptance tests of digital volume tomography (DVT) X-ray installations as well as for DVT installations with integrated imaging function.

CE marked, class IIb certified diagnostic dosimetry system, fully compliant with IEC 61674 for acceptance testing and quality control measurements on RAD, FLU, DENT, CT and MAM X-ray modalities. Field-class electrometer acc. to IEC 60731 for air kerma measurements in radiotherapy and orthovoltage therapy. Outstanding accuracy (± 2%) and excellent resolution (20 fA). Connection of semiconductor detectors  or ion chambers or of the NOMEX® Multimeter. Combined with the NOMEX Multimeter and/or NOMEX mAs all relevant QC parameters can be captured in one single shot. The NOMEX mAs is an invasive meter for measuring the current time product (mAs) on diagnostic X-ray generators. For invasive measurements the NOMEX mAs connects to the generator of the X-ray unit via banana plugs. Optionally, non-invasive mA and mAs measurements can be performed by means of connecting a current clamp directly to the NOMEX® mAs. The NOMEX mAs can be used as a stand-alone device or in combination with the NOMEX Dosemeter together with an external dose detector and/or simultaneously with the NOMEX Multimeter.

The NORMI RAD/FLU test object is used for acceptance and constancy tests of analogue and digital X-ray installations for fluoroscopy and radiography. The NORMI RAD/FLU structure plate includes a copper step wedge for testing the dynamic range, a resolution test pattern, low contrast and detail test elements. The structure plate enables checking all parameters in one shot.
