It got its start as a family-owned business making variable flow switches for the automotive industry and today services concrete, defense, chemical processing, mining, wastewater, energy, electronics, laboratories, medical, and many other industries. Universal’s products are characterized by a simple and robust design backed up by high customer service and dedication to quality. In 2021, Universal Flow Monitors was acquired by Dwyer Instruments, a global leader in the design and manufacture of innovative sensors and instrumentation solutions for the IAQ, building automation, and process automation markets.
