Laurane OmniBone - Access Needle
The OmniBone™ Access Needle is used with the OmniBone™ rechargeable Power Driver and is intended for percutaneous bone access procedures. It is fully power-driven. The non-sterile Power Driver is placed into a sterile pouch and assembled to a coupler. The bone access needle is then connected to the Power Driver assembly.
Perforating feature: The introducer has a cutting cannula with two cutting edges and a slotted V-shape drill tip stylet, allowing immediate purchase in the bone.
Drilling efficiency allowing little heat friction: The needle design allows perforating with ease, even in dense bone. As a result of its great cutting feature, it creates limited heat friction of the needle into the bone.
Versatility: The cannula size makes it compatible with most special procedure devices and probes.
