Plasmacure - Model Plasoma -Cold Plasma Wound Treatment System
The Plasoma system by Plasmacure BV offers an innovative wound treatment solution employing cold plasma technology. At its core, the system comprises a cold plasma pad and pulser. The pad, designed to be flexible and placed over the wound area, is activated upon a button press, triggering the pulser to generate cold plasma directly beneath the pad. With an active area diameter of 3 cm, it is initially tailored for diabetic foot ulcers and open leg wounds, with future size variations in development. The pulser delivers an electric current, initiating plasma generation, and features continuous monitoring for optimal safety, halting in case of irregularities. Designed for efficiency, the treatment lasts two minutes per session and integrates smoothly into existing wound care routines, repeating as necessary until healing is achieved. User-friendly and portable, it caters to both clinic and home use, addressing a range of wounds, including ulcers and burns.
PLASOMA cold plasma pad is flexible and is fixed over the wound. After one push on the button, the cold plasma pulser will ignite the cold plasma below the pad. The current pad has an active cold plasma area with a diameter of 3 cm. This size fits most of the diabetic foot ulcers and open leg wounds. More cold plasma pad sizes will be developed over time.
PLASOMA cold plasma pulser sends an electric current to the pad to ignite the cold plasma. The progress of the treatment can be followed on the display. The cold plasma pulser is intelligent: it monitors continuously the treatment process and automatically stops the treatment in the event of irregularities.
