MRSModel PET INSERT -Simultaneous PET/MR Imaging

SHARE

The MRS*PET INSERT, designed by MR Solutions, facilitates simultaneous PET/MR imaging, enabling the acquisition of multi-parametric information from the same subject with precision. Built to integrate seamlessly with cryogen-free MR systems up to 9.4 Tesla, it offers flexibility in research settings due to its removable nature. This product can function independently of the MR system, effectively converting into a standalone PET device when needed. Its advanced PET Technology uses silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) detectors and dual pixelated scintillator crystal layers, achieving high-resolution imaging with under 0.8mm precision. The integration of MRS*DRYMAG technology eliminates the need for traditional cryogenic cooling agents like liquid helium, offering eco-friendliness and cost efficiency. This device is particularly suitable for small animal imaging, providing researchers with robust data for advanced analysis in preclinical studies.

The MRS*PET INSERT is designed for simultaneous imaging in combination with MR Solutions Cryogen-free MR up to 9.4T. It permits multi-parametric information on the same animal as both PET and MR are acquired simultaneously. The PET INSERT is removable from the MR allowing to have access to the full bore of the MR system.  The PET INSERT can be operated as a stand alone device.
