Model GRS - Rebar Shear
The Genesis Rebar Shear makes two sequential cuts every time the jaws close to easily cut rebar into 16-inch lengths and efficiently reduce tangled rebar into processed scrap piles. Featuring 10 identical, 4-way indexable cutting blades and two identical, 2-way indexable piercing tips, this scrap shear works in place of an excavator bucket and requires no excavator modifications.
The GRS is designed for use in the following applications:
- Scrap Processing
- Demolition
- Concrete Recycling
- C&D Processing
The Rebar Shear stands upright for easy attachment changes, storage and transport. Two models are available to fit 65,000 lb. to 110,000 lb. excavators, and a stiff arm and mounting pad are included.
To further enhance its functionality, the GRS` cut-away chin plate provides a relief area for balled rebar while maintaining the jaw`s structural integrity.
