Emfit Ltd (comes from “electromechanical film technology”) is the world pioneer in the renaissance of ballistocardiography and the leading manufacturer of sleep sensing devices that apply this technology. The story of Emfit company began in 1990, and the first scientific publication of our ballistocardiography sensors dates back to 1993. Since then, there have been over 100 research publications on our electro-active film and sensor technology. We are proud to collaborate with a number of world-famous universities and research organizations, focusing not only on ballistocardiography but also on other types of sensing of vibrations and forces, including acoustics and ultrasound. Our company is made up of a small but extremely motivated team of 20 highly talented individuals with diverse backgrounds. We all share a passion for what we do. Initially, we focused on material research, and in 1996 began to develop and market whole systems, first for senior care.
