Environmental and Energy Study Institute

The Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) is a non-profit organization established by Congressional leaders and dedicated to promoting environmentally sustainable societies. Its primary focus is on national policy and policymaker education. EESI produces credible, timely information and innovative policy ideas and effects change through coalition building, media outreach, publications, Congressional briefings, workshops and task forces on the issues of energy efficiency and renewable energy, transportation, smart growth, sustainable biomass, and global climate change. EESI holds more than 30 highly regarded Congressional briefings each year. We seek to develop innovative “win-win” policy solutions and strategies through all of our work.
