ETS Wound Care is a privately held medical device company developing next generation treatments to support wound healing with borate-based bioactive glass technology. ETS Wound Care was founded in Rolla, Missouri, USA to develop and commercialize 100 synthetic wound care products composed of proprietary resorbable borate-based bioactive glass. The borate glass technology was innovated by researchers at Missouri University of Science and Technology while investigating novel ways to heal soft tissue injuries. The borate-based bioactive glass technology platform is now composed of over 14 issued U.S. and foreign patents with additional filings pending. From this technology, ETS Wound Care has developed the first FDA cleared inorganic bioactive glass based wound care solution.
