eVent Medical has maintained continuous growth for over a decade, bringing yet more veterans of the ventilator industry to the team while maintaining our sole focus on mechanical ventilation. Mechanical ventilation manufacturing began in California in the 1950s by small ventilator companies based in San Diego, Los Angeles, Riverside and Palm Springs. Through the years, as these companies became successful, they were consumed by larger companies with diversified interests. In March of 2000, several respiratory therapists and engineers broke away from these larger companies to form their own ventilator company . . . one that would incorporate their experience and passion in the art of mechanical ventilation into the global center of the industry. Our passion is, and has always been, mechanical ventilation with the highest discipline to design, produce and distribute only the best products in the world. Our entire team lives and breathes ventilator care.
