Khymeia Group was established in 1998 following fundamental studies in the fields of neurological rehabilitation medicine, conducted for years by Dr. Lamberto Piron in the Department of Cognitive Science Professor led by Emilio Bizzi at MIT – Massachusetts Institute of Technology – in Boston. In particular, the results of his research about neurological functional recovery in virtual reality technology have inspired the birth and evolution of the Company. Khymeia, with unchanging feelings, devotes its own efforts and the results achieved, in particular those of scientific and clinical matters, to the memory of Lamberto, keen researcher, brilliant innovator, beloved physician, and extraordinary person.
