LSTM Erlangen

Institute of Fluid Mechanics (LSTM) at the Technical Faculty of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. We are an academic unit of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering with research and educational focus on mass, momentum and energy transport in natural and technical processes. We view fluid mechanics as cross-disciplinary field between natural and engineering sciences, including applied mathematics and informatics, and are particularly interested in its applications to medicine and human biology. The institute is organized in ten different areas, each of which focuses on several research subjects.
