RECYCLING AEKK ATTIKIS SA

The System of Collective Alternative Waste Management of Excavation, Construction & Demolition Waste - Recycling AEKK Attikis S.A. with distinctive title «RECYCLING Α.Ε.Κ.Κ. ATTIKIS SA», is established on 2014 and operates in the geographical area of Attica. The purpose of the system is to raise awareness and information of private, public and private stakeholders on the proper management and reuse of C&D waste. The system undertakes to conclude contracts with the responsible managers of C&D waste (Technical Companies, Licensed Collectors / Transporters and Authorized Processing Units) to organize and control all alternative waste management operations and the procedures followed in the recycling of C&D waste. The aim of the system is to prevent and reduce the impact on the environment and human health from the uncontrolled dumping of scrap from excavation and demolition as well as the recovery and reuse of recycled materials with the ultimate goal of moving them back to the market.
