RIEGER Behälterbau GmbH
In 1952, then 21-year-old master cooper, Herbert Rieger, founded the Rieger company in Mundelsheim. Coming from a family of coopers, Herbert Rieger was following in his father’s footsteps. New challenges and entrepreneurial foresight were contributing factors in the development, over time, from traditional barrel production to a modern company producing stainless steel tanks of all types. IIn 1993, a further production site was founded in Pécs, Hungary. This provided RIEGER Behälterbau GmbH with an important production location for development of the eastern European market. Today, the business sites of Ingersheim, Bietigheim-Bissingen and Pécs (Hungary) have a total of 150 employees. Production encompasses all types of stainless steel tanks for the beverage and food sectors as well as chemistry and pharmacy.
