Sanquin

Sanquin employs people working in many different disciplines, including donor assistants, doctors, pharmacists, researchers, laboratory technicians and production staff. Sanquin has a Supervisory Board responsible for the overall monitoring of the organisation’s operations. The Executive Board consists of one statutory director, the CEO. The CEO is advised by the Executive Committee. A number of other advisory councils are also active within Sanquin. Sanquin consists of the following organizational units: the Blood Bank, Diagnostic Services B.V., Reagents B.V., Sanquin Innovation B.V. and Research and Labservices. The Corporate Staff supports these units and advises the Executive Board. Sanquin works closely together with Prothya Biosolutions to provide medicines from plasma.
