THE SUTURE BUDDY

The Suture Buddy is a medical simulation product designed to assist health care professionals as they learn and practice suture techniques and would closures. Developed by an ER physician and two PhDs, our skin pads are the most realistic on the market and mimic the turgor and density of real skin for a superior learning experience. Each pad is durable through hundreds of practice sessions without tearing and offers a full range of wounds and incisions, so you can master all the necessary suturing techniques in one place. Our pads and kits are all portable, so you can bring the sim lab practice experience wherever you go. Our products and workshops have been included in AMSA 2019 (American Medical Student Association) and STEM 2019 (South Texas Emergency Medical Conference 2019). We can also be found in Sim labs throughout the country, NP skills workshops, residency programs, hospitals, urgent care centers, and medical schools.
