VOMM Impianti e Processi was founded in the late 1960s with the aim of developing new, more efficient production technologies for Zini Prodotti Alimentari, a group company operating in the food industry. Within just a few years the patented VOMM technology, called Turbo Technology, was successfully applied not just in the food industry but also in many other industries, for the processing of raw materials and byproducts. The market immediately embraced VOMM Turbo Technology with enthusiasm, and there are now more than five hundred plants installed worldwide, in industries ranging from food to the environment, chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
