- The PolyMem Regular dressing is composed of a polymeric membrane combined with a superabsorbent, which provides superior exudate absorption and retention capacity. A non-aggressive cleansing agent that is gradually released into the wound bed. Once the wound is clean, this surfactant makes it unnecessary to clean the wound during dressing changes.
- It contains glycerin that keeps the dressing well placed on the wound and makes it easier to remove.
- Finally, a thin outer semipermeable film allows gas exchange while maintaining the ideal moisture vapor transmission ratio (MVTR).
