POCT Analyzers

Optical Q - Fluorescence Immunoassay Diagnostic Device

Optical Q™ is a cutting edge in-vitro diagnostics fluorescence immunoassay analyzer (FIA) that accurately measures the concentration of analytes contained in blood, serum, plasma, and other samples. Results are generated within a prompt 15-minute time frame with CV`s ranging from 5%~10%. In contrast to standard FIA analyzers that use gold nano-particles, Optical Q utilizes advanced fluorescence chemistry and incorporates world class lens technology to more accurately quantify the concentration - or severity - of each analyte. In addition, Optical Q features a wide variety of diagnostic markers - many of which are developed in-house - that covers health categories including but not limited to inflammation, infection, diabetes, vitamin D deficiency, thyroids, and more. Our capacity to develop our device and antibodies in-house enables optimized performance against competitors, continued expansion of our test menu, and modification of tests based on client needs.

Fluorescence Immunoassay Test Kits - COVID-19

Optical Q - CoV-19 Neutralizing Antibody

SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies (nAbs) are special antibodies that function to prevent SARS CoV-2 from binding to the ACE2 receptor of human cells. High levels of nAbs indicate immunity against COVID-19. Standard IgG/IgM antibody tests – which are universally available – do not detect for nAbs and can only provide an indirect indication for immunity. A SARS-CoV-2 nAb test can be used to monitor immunization against COVID-19, evaluate vaccine efficacy across vaccinated patients, and assess recovering patients.

Optical Q - Immunoassay for Quantitative Determination of CoV-19 Antigen

SARS-CoV-2 antigens refer to nucleoproteins that pertain specifically to the virus. SARS-CoV-2 test detects the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus from part of the upper respiratory tract swab specimens by identifying antigens pertaining to SARS-CoV-2. The test identifies current infection during the acute phase of COVID-19, while the virus is still present in large quantities in the respiratory tract. The SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen test is a reliable, rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of specific antigens of SARS-CoV-2 present in the human nasopharynx.

Fluorescence Immunoassay Test Kits - Thyroid

Optical Q - Immunoassay for Quantitative Determination of TSH

Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is a pituitary hormone that stimulates the thyroid gland to produce thyroxine and triiodothyronine which stimulates metabolism of almost every tissue in the body. Thyroid stimulating hormone is secreted by the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland, and induces the production and release of thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) from the thyroid gland. TSH is essential in the maintenance of normal thyroid function. The release of TSH is regulated by a TSH-releasing hormone (TRH) produced by the hypothalamus. The levels of TSH and TRH are inversely related to the level of thyroid hormone. When there is a high level of thyroid hormone in the blood, less TSH is secreted by the pituitary. The opposite action will occur when there are decreased levels of thyroid hormones in the blood. This process, known as a negative feedback mechanism, is responsible for maintaining the proper blood levels of these hormones.

Optical Q - Immunoassay for Quantitative Determination of Total T3

Triiodothyronine (T3) is one of two major hormones produced by the thyroid gland. T3 plays an important role in the maintenance of the euthyroid state. T3 measurements can be a valuable component in diagnosing certain disorders of thyroid function. T3 levels distinguish clearly between euthyroid and hyperthyroid subjects, but provide a less clear-cut separation between hypothyroid and euthyroid subjects. T3 tests help diagnose hyperthyroidism and other thyroid complications and can be used to monitor effectiveness of treatment of a thyroid disorder.

Fluorescence Immunoassay Test Kits - Inflammation

Optical Q - Immunoassay for the Quantitative Determination of CRP

C-reactive protein (CRP) is an acute reaction protein produced by the liver and is secreted into the bloodstream within a few hours after the onset of an infection or inflammation. As CRP increases in severe cases of inflammation, tests are done on the patient’s clinical symptoms or for patients at risk of acute inflammation post-surgery. CRP tests are conducted to assist with conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, and is often repeated to determine the efficacy of a treatment. CRP is also a useful test index for inflammatory reactions, and can be used for early detection of potential infections in wound healing and surgical resection, organ transplantation, and burn patients. Rapid diagnosis and treatment are essential in acute inflammatory reactions.

Optical Q - Immunoassay for the Quantitative Determination of PCT

Procalcitonin (PCT) is a substance produced by many types of cells in the body, often, and more significantly in response to bacterial infections and sepsis, but also in response to tissue injury and stress. Other stressors may include viral infections, trauma, surgery, pancreatitis, burns, shocks associated with cardiac arrest, and acute organ transplant rejection. PCT tests are conducted to detect the presence of a bacterial infection in its early stages and are also, in crucially ill patients, used to guide antibiotic treatment by differentiating between bacterial infections and other causes.

Fluorescence Immunoassay Test Kits - Diabetes

Optical Q - Immunoassay for the Quantitative Determination of HbA1c

Glycated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) is a form of hemoglobin that is chemically linked to a sugar. The glycated hemoglobin test measures the concentration of glycated A1c hemoglobin by evaluating the average level of glucose in the blood over the past 2 to 3 months. Hemoglobin is an oxygen-carrying protein found inside red blood cells. Although several normal and variant hemoglobin are known, the most common form, accounting for 95~98%, is hemoglobin A.

Fluorescence Immunoassay Test Kits - Tumor

Optical Q - Immunoassay For the Quantitative Determination of AFP

Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a major plasma protein produced primarily in the liver of a developing fetus. It can be found in maternal blood and in amniotic fluid since it is secreted into fetal serum. A great increase of AFP concentration in several malignant diseases mostly is primary hepatocellular carcinoma and non-seminoma testicular cancer.

Fluorescence Immunoassay Test Kits - Cardiovascular Disease

Optical Q - Immunoassay for the Quantitative Determination of CK-MB

Creatine Kinase-MB (CK-MB) is a form of enzyme found primarily in heart muscle cells. CK-MB is one of three forms of the enzyme creatine kinase and is released from the muscle cells and is detectable in the blood when there is muscle damage in the heart. When there is an increased presence of CK-MB in the blood, the CK-MB test can be used to determine whether it is a heart damage or not. CK-MB is thus a cardiac marker used to assist diagnoses of acute myocardial infraction, heart attack, distinguish between skeletal muscle and heart muscle damage, and monitor additional heart damage.
