A Unified Treatment Control System

RayCommand®* treatment control system (TCS) is the link between the treatment machine and the treatment planning and oncology information systems. RayCommand coordinates and orchestrates the different systems involved, such as imaging systems, beam delivery systems and the patient support system. Effective coordination is critical in order to achieve safe and efficient patient treatments.

Advancing Cancer Treatment Through Machine Learning

Machine learning and data-driven oncology represents a new era in healthcare. RayIntelligence® is an innovative cloud-based oncology analytics system that gives meaning to data, empowering cancer centers to reach new levels of personalized care through insights based on clinical data.

RayPlan

IMRT Planning

State-of-the-art tools for designing and optimizing IMRT treatment plans. Direct optimization of step-and-shoot segments enables high-quality IMRT plans with a minimum number of segments. This increases overall treatment quality by speeding up both the planning and delivery processes. Conversion for sliding window (dynamic MLC) IMRT is also supported. As computation takes seconds rather than minutes, you can create several alternative treatment plans to assess different trade-off scenarios instead of opening a second case or going on a break during computations.

VMAT Planning

Design and optimization of single- or multiple-arc plans is enabled. VMAT planning is done using an optimization procedure (inverse planning). Objectives and constraints for the desired dose are defined and the system creates a plan that matches these criteria as closely as possible within the limitations of the treatment machine. The optimized plan is directly deliverable, without the need for post-processing that might degrade quality. VMAT planning follows the same workflow as SMLC optimization. Delivery time and motion constraints can also be used. The direct optimization of machine parameters means the optimized plan is directly deliverable, with no post-processing required. Varian, Elekta and Siemens machines are supported, including non-upgraded Varian machines and the Siemens mArc.

RayStation

Adaptive Therapy

In adaptive therapy planning frequent imaging is used to compensate for anatomical differences that occur during the course of treatment. Re-planning is considered once significant changes are observed. RayStation is specifically designed to make adaptive therapy faster and easier in clinical practice. It includes modules designed for dose tracking, deformable registration, and adaptive re-planning. RaySearch has collaborated with leading cancer centers worldwide to pioneer the use of adaptive planning.
