RayStation

Adaptive Therapy

In adaptive therapy planning frequent imaging is used to compensate for anatomical differences that occur during the course of treatment. Re-planning is considered once significant changes are observed. RayStation is specifically designed to make adaptive therapy faster and easier in clinical practice. It includes modules designed for dose tracking, deformable registration, and adaptive re-planning. RaySearch has collaborated with leading cancer centers worldwide to pioneer the use of adaptive planning.

Multi-Criteria Optimization

Iterative parameter tuning and multiple re-optimization is no longer necessary with multi-criteria optimization in RayStation. This module allows for the continuous exploration of the possible treatment options in real time so you can find the precise balance for every patient between target coverage and the sparing of healthy structures.

Fast and Accurate Dose Computation

Speed and accuracy for superior plan quality. Radically transform your treatment planning process with the unrivaled speed of RayStation. Computation is measured in seconds rather than minutes, so you can efficiently produce several competing treatment plans to assess different tradeoff situations and avoid interruptions. This has been shown to contribute to overall plan quality. Decreasing calculation times for VMAT planning – from around 10-17 minutes for optimization and final dose calculation to around 2-4 minutes – significantly increases the fulfillment of clinical goals*. RayStation also offers the possibility to use Monte Carlo dose algorithms**, providing the highest level of accuracy. All calculations are run on GPU to enable outstanding results like those displayed here***.

Automated Treatment Planning

Save time and reduce the risk of error by automating treatment planning. Advanced plan-generating protocols, scripting, automated breast planning, fallback planning, machine learning and plan explorer are some of the tools available in RayStation — the first treatment planning system to incorporate machine learning applications.
